Whats good for breakfast?
As usual Great food. Excellent service.. Good old fashioned service and food. Could not ask for more.
MoreGreat place to stop in Cache creek for a meal. Burgers are delicious! Friendly staff and even better food.
MoreThe poutine is NOT βMontrealβ poutine. No cheese curds, not much cheese at all really. Disappointing. False advertising is always frustrating.
MoreGreat old fashioned burger diner that has been around for years. Ice cream, shakes, fries, and picnic tables. Does small town road side dining get better than this? Worth the stop if you're not looking for health food.
MoreThe service has *always* "left something to be desired." The staff know because the restaurant is local that it will be supported, and act accordingly by being slow and not at all friendly or personable. I've seen A&Ws and convenience stores with more caring staff ππ you wait a hot minute for food at hungry herbiesβand the food is sub-par. You would be better off going across the street and buying chesters chicken or a&w. Its cheaper and tastier π€·ββοΈ
MoreVery good service. Had the monster burger and wasn't disappointed. 3rd best restaurant burger I've had. You need to salt your own fries. Poutine was average
MoreStopped at Herbie's on our way to Savona. Good place for Burgers. The fish and chicken burger was really tasty. Their fries was also nice. We also had their Chocolate milk shake which was really nice. Nice friendly staff. Ample of space outside to sit an eat too. And it was open past 8 pm which was really good in these times of Covid. Was definitely a good place to eat.
MoreWe always make sure we can stop at Hungry Herbie's on route to cariboo. They have great burgers, fries and THE BEST bacon and tomato sandwiches. Make sure you try the quencher.
MoreBest burgers in North America! Yes, you read that right. Hungry Herbie's burgers eclipses the great In-N-Out, Shake Shack and Wally's. This is a MUST stop if you are anywhere in the vicinity of Cache Creek. Hungry Herbie's ain't changed much since the 50's and that's a good thing, friends. It's old school, done right. I recommend the classic cheeseburger washed down with an extra thick chocolate shake. Creds to their fried chicken too, but word of warning, it comes out hot!
MoreThis place had been here since my dad was a kid. And it is as good as it was then now. My dad and my kids love it. It a great place
MoreHomemade milkshakes, fries and burgers!!! Seriously, the drive from Kamloops is worth every penny to have one of their milkshakes. Sit outside or in your vehicle, covid safe, even a little picnic area in next parking lot. Food is great and the staff hasn't gotten an order wrong yet. Super cool place to go.
MoreBurgers are good, a little greasy but nice and tasty. Fries are top notch! I'd definitely recommend the Monster burger, hits the spot and satisfies nicely :)
MoreAt the crossroads of Highway 1 and Highway 97 it is an excellent place to stop by for a brunch or lunch. We had the classic breakfast. Lots of tables inside and out. Plenty of parking. A good place for bikers and vacationers to stop in.
MoreThis is a great nostalgic restaurant that offers some nice "homestyle " burgers and chicken meals. The staff were friendly and efficient. Overall the place is clean and tidy.
MoreThe burgers are really good. The burgers are yummy and juicy, the fries are crispy and delicious.
MoreFries are still as good as ever. But their burgers have gone downhill. Not sure what happened there. But not nearly as good as they use to be. This was always a must stop but now its kind of meh.....I hope they improve their burgers to what they use to be.
MoreA cute, cozy restaurant. The food was average (the fries were actually below average, tasting like old husks of potato) but the prices were fair and the service was phenomenal.
MoreNot terrible but not great either. Prices are a bit bumped. Advertised Montreal poutine and gave me shredded cheddar lol I'll eat at aw next time
MoreIt never changes which is awesome I know that when I stop there even if it's only once a yr or even longer when I order the Monster burger taste the same as before so I always look forward to stopping there. The sea burger is better than anything we have had on the west coast . I've driven 1000km without eating just so as I can stop at Hungry Herbie's.. please keep up the good work
MoreOrdered the Monster burger, so juicy and well dressed! Delectable!
We enjoyed the food and would go back. Somewhat expensive.
Classic 50s diner style food. I got the fried chicken. It takes about 10 min to cook. But worth the wait vs a typical fast food joint...wife had the regular burger and really enjoyed it.
MoreThe service was nice, the fish was good, and the burger was FANTASTIC!!! We stopped here for lunch on the way north, and we absolutely would stop here again! Highly recommend!!!!
MoreAlways have their monster burger AWESOMENESS!!!!!I phone in my order 10-15 minutes ahead of time and it's ready when I get there Great service
MoreBurger was great. Poutine was below average. Staff were not very friendly. covid had us eating outside but it was very obvious no one was cleaning anything out there.
MoreOrdered famous herbie burger very small asked for meat well done came very under cooked bacon half raw. Fries just ok. Will never be back. It was a joke.
MoreGreat burger, this is the place to stop if you want a burger driving through town. Way better than any fast food joint and reasonable priced. Fries are great and made in house ( could see them making them).
MoreFresh burger and fries. Worth stopping for.
Soo good! We love Hungry Herbies!!!
Pretty good place to stop and grab a bite to eat.
Iconic. If you are ever travelling through Cache Creek, treat yourself. Fair pricing, great flavours and enough choices to make everyone in the car (or truck) happy. If in doubt, order a burger.
MoreThe Oasis within an oasis, Herby's has consistently friendly staff with valuable advice on what to get, even if it's water!
MoreThe food was good both times we ate there. They were busy even in a Sunday night. The employees were polite, the place is kept clean, we enjoyed the old atmosphere and pictures and some antique items that gives the place a certain feel of "old but experienced" in their craft. The poutine was good even after a night in the fridge. Not sure if the food is expensive there, I can say that the portions were large for my body needs.A very good food stop while you are in Cache Creek.
MoreGreat food. Feel refreshed after eating it. The Quenchers are the quenchiest.
as good as a food shack should be! my go to on my way through , your first visit won't be your last!
MoreStopped for the playground, stayed for the food! Would totally stop here again if were ever in the area again. Everyone was super friendly too!
MoreThe burgers were solid, definitely better than generic fast food, but the poutine was awful. They mixed cheddar and mozza cheese, who does that?Three star experience because of the poutine but the girl who served us was mega hot.
MoreA great greasy spoon diner in the blink-and-you'll-miss-it metropolis of Cache Creek. It's a bit of a wait but the burgers are made from scratch so it's worth it!
MoreGreat old fashioned burger stand and a BC icon. I travel through Cache Creek generally 1 - 2 times per year on the way to a friend's property further north. My friends and I have a bit of nostalgia for Herbies but don't visit often and I'm am not sure why. On Sunday we decided to stop in and I can safely say I think I will be making it a more frequent part of my trips to the area. I had a monster with rings and it was fantastic. Much better than any fast food burger. The staff at the counter were also super friendly as I watched them serve other customers while waiting for and eating my food. My only regret was that I didn't get fries because they looked delicious too! A must visit on those family summer road trips!
MoreI'd heard a lot about this place, that the burgers were sooooo good. I was anticipating a place like burger heaven in New Westminster, where you leave stuffed from the gigantic burgers.....I ordered a basic burger with lettuce tomato and cheese. The bun was soft and fresh, the meat was good. Nothing to get excited about. The fries were awesome though. If come back for the fries. But I'd get a burger elsewhere.
MoreSmoking should NOT be allowed outside at the tables. Food great but didn't appreciate the smoke in my face. (Ashtrays on tables, totally illegal)
MoreThis is a fun stop and memory from my youth. Food is about the fare you expect from a diner and place has a nice feel to it. Friendly folks.
MoreWicked good burgers at a highway split point. Another reason to take the fraser canyon over the coquihalla. The super union burger was perfectly cooked, tastes like a flat top, yummy. Lots.of fried onion, a tangy mustard sauce that accentuates the beef and really makes the burger. Happy I stopped here,.see you in June.
MoreGreat burger joint on the side of highway passing through Cache Creek. Bit of a wait during a busy dinner rush, but totally worth the wait. The Sea Burger and onion rings were delicious. Finished off with a chocolate covered ice cream cone. Outdoor seating was nice, but smoking is allowed, so it was a bit toxic with nearby smokers. They also have a small outdoor play area for kids, which is a nice feature for parents that just want to eat and relax after a long drive, and the kids can burn off steam too. Despite the heat and busy rush, staff were super friendly. Definitely stop here when passing through Cache Creek!
MoreLong wait but worth it in the end. The chicken is amazing and burger was decent. The issue I had was people that ordered after me got there food first so no priority it seems
MoreGreat food and real milkshakes. Delicious. I'll be back again.
Best banana splits! Love the ice cream. Haven't tried anything else!
Being from Montreal area, I was drawn to the "Montreal Poutine", a poutine is made with cheese curds (all over Quebec, actually), not gratted cheese! Herbie burger is very good.
MoreI had their Signature Burger called The "Monster Burger" 10β¨STARS!!!!! Comes w/ 2 patties, cheese, π, π₯, relish, mayo, lettuce, & π . Best Burger EVER!!! π―ππ
MoreWe love the food wifey chicken burger and me the monster!
